Marc began his career at an external costs firm alongside studying the CILEX paralegal qualification and Certificate of Higher Education in Legal Practice. He moved to MRN in September 2023 where he increased his knowledge in drafting Bill of Costs, negotiating legal costs, drafting Points of Dispute/ Points of Replies and budgeting.
Marc specialises in clinical negligence, personal injury and commercial Claimant costs however I have experience in housing disrepair, Court of Protection and Defendant costs.
Marc recently worked on a case where, although negotiations were unsuccessful, his strong Points of Replies led to the Bill being assessed at 92% and given the Claimant beaten their own Part 36 offer, the Claimant was able to benefit from the Part 36 advantages and received £46,874.18 against a Bill of Costs claimed at £40,292.66.
